Hi, I would like to know if there is any way to remotely turn off a Wii U console? For example, if my kid is not allowed to play while I am not at home and he does, I would like to find a way to turn it off. Any 3rd party software or embedded functionality? Parental safety?

You could set a password for your user or alter the parental control in the settings.

Lock away the controller or the power brick. Can't play it without those.

As @Mineral said, hide the power cable.
