First game I got to try out for the Wii U at my local Gamestop. I have to say I was very impressed.
Now the question is, I thought they said we would be able to download the demo on the 18th. I can not find it. Anyone else?

It's definitely not on the eShop at this time. I wish Ubisoft would have said something if they're delaying it. As much as I'm loving the console, I wish there was demos for a few games so I could decide if they warrant a purchase.
