I noticed today that the Miiverse PC website not longer lets you save the pictures you've taken from the games onto your PC. This is something I liked doing when I found interesting or funny images. Is there anything else Nintendo will do to restrict us as their consumers. We've had no spotpass messages in Letterbox, Region-Locking, over-the-top administrators on Miiverse, and now this, too.

I can still do it... if you're using Chrome, do this:
1. Highlight the image in question;
2. Right click and select "Inspect Element"
3. A window will pop up at the bottom of the screen. Highlighted should be "<div class="screenshot-container">...</div>"
4. On the left side of this is a drop down arrow. Click on it.
5. And there's your link!

...hope that helps!
Thanks! I didn't know how to do that before. Perhaps this wasn't the big thing to get angry about. Region-locking is probably the bigger problem. Thank you for solving a simple molehill that I turned into a mountain.

Yeah, but if you do a screenshot you've gotta cut the picture out... with the inspect element you just get the picture and you don't have to do anything else to it.
thats funny that they would disable right clicking on them. if you can see it on your screen, you can always get it, either through the source, inspecting element, or even a screenshot. a kid tried to do that in a college project, but i was able to download the pictures of his girlfriend from his hot or not girl rating rip off site, and put her up for sale in my online store.
Also, a little easier in Firefox just right click, view page info, then select media, find the picture and click the save as button.
Also this may have been an inadvertent casualty of having to protect something else like say, not letting you capture someone's Mii and then do terrible things to it.. etc.
Lastly, why would you want the horribly tiny pictures off miiverse? You aren't doing this for your own shots are you? The best thing to do for your own screenshots is to use the browser and upload to minus.com or copy.com so they do not get compressed.
