"Hal is working on a new Kirby game" would be the biggest piece of non-news ever btw. They haven't made a game anyone remembers about other than Kirby since the N64 Pokemon games.
Actually banjo kazooie has a 50/50 chance of appearing on the wii u.
Uhh... and the moment, as of now, it has a 0/100 chance of appearing on the Wii U.
I hope Nintendo doesn't try and buy the IP. I don't think it'd be worth it. Just go with whatever those ex-Rare guys are doing.

Welll what i mean by it is because they could have a 50/50 chance of getting the rights to use it on the Wii U if they wanted to make one for the fans. Rare still makes good games though.

Err... do you have anything to back up that percent?
They can be though. They have been hiring alot lately. Simon Woodroffe as the creative director as well as quite a few ex codemaster guys. They are rumored to have two games currently in development a Kinect game and am action/adventure game. Also Rare is under new leadership with Craig Duncan having been over development for around a year now.
Also the team today made up of the guys who worked on Kameo and onward. That's still a lot of good games being made.
WAT!

Heh.
I mean, I guess you can say that. But they aren't the same kind of good. All the real talent already left.
That is true but nintendo are still creative and could help them. As for the percents nintendo usually listens to fans and does what they ask so it is 50/50 on if they will listen or not and 50/50 if they could get the rights.
They make good games regardless of Nintendo. Thing is Nintendo isn't getting the IP or the company. Microsoft just had a European press briefing where they announced a new head at Rare and it was teased they are going to show something at E3.

Personally, I think Nintendo could do pretty well by hiring the old Banjo Kazooie and Rare staff and getting them to make a spiritual successor. After all, could a new team over at Rare be able to do better than the team who made the Nintendo 64 games? Imagine if they could even get the likes of Grant Kirkhope to compose the music for it...
Which reminds me, Nintendo should so hire David Wise to compose the music for the next Donkey Kong Country title. After all, I hear he's currently not working for any particular studio, and it'd mean they'd get the same quality of music as in the SNES games.

They already formed their own studio.
If I'm not mistaken, David Wise applied for a job at Retro and got turned down.

Yes, it's just one of the fifties won't happen
The 50 still there is Microsoft. Microsoft has control of Banjo, so it's up to them to get a good game out with the bear. N&B was decently cool IMO, but a 'normal' platforming game would have been better IMO.

That's what i mean nintendo could be the other 50 and actually try but it's all microsoft's decision. I never played the game though if it sounds like i have.
