Ninten-does what others don't: like release unfinished systems that don't have enough games ready at release or even after and try to say everything's alright u___u

I'm a major Sony & Nintendo fan and this fan boy dispute back and forth is a joke.

Sony make great exclusives and don't put them down for that, Nintendo have great exclusives too. It's just a matter of each gamers opinion.

Both have reached outstanding heights with The Last Of Us and Zelda Orcarina Of Time.

Nintendo WiiU is a great system. PERIOD.
people complain that there's no games. Go to the store. Go to the eshop there's PLENTY OF GAMES.
I have over 30 games for my WiiU. 30!! Thats counting all games. New. Indie.VC. thats more games than I've ever had on one system at a time. And its not even through its first year.
So people complain - really if they had all the games you wanted out now - can you even afford them??? Relax with the lack of games talk already.
Third party support??? Count all the third party games for the system right now.plenty! And good ones!
Releasing an unfinished system ??? That doesn't even make any sense. You other people who talk about sales?? What does it matter? Its Nintendo! This is what they do. If you are a fanboy then u would know this.

Nintendo is what you want to work with. Deep inside you struggle with leaving your corny systems with games that are all influenced by Nintendo Ips but can never really match or compete. when Nintendo went HD I traded the ps3 xbox360 and Wii because I KNOW THE WIIU WILL BE THE ONLY SYSTEM I WILL EVER NEED. notice* not what I want.. what I NEED.

Really? Because 85% the third party games on the Wii U I see are half donkeyed cheap ports with no DLC or extra content from the other consoles.

I see not necessarily arguing for Nintendo's absolute supremecy makes you a fanboy of sorts.

And anyway I was talking about the games not dlc. Dlc is just a developers trick to squeeze money out u.

A short cubby Italian plumber jumps 7 feet into the air = realistic.
No one really tries to make platform games like Mario since the early 90's because platform games are a dead genre. So they give you something different, like LBP which is really all about making your own levels. Kind of something I really hope Nintendo would have added to Mario games, but I guess they don't want some punk kid to make a better level then them, which takes them a few hours to make.

The same can be said for Nintendo first party games. Not everything they make is gold, and even an fan can agree to that.

I have a feeling you never played a recent Sony first party game to make such judgments, but since this is a thread that's bias towards any other games that are not Nintendo, or any games that are not on a Nintendo console at all. It is to be expected.

Activision should release their entire Atari 2600 catalogue on VC... That would be bloody good playing them on the gamepad

@uptownsoul - their hardware is great and can handle HD.
it won't affect their game making.
But yes. Even I thought back when the wii released that it shouldve been HD.
I don't understand how they can say the thing about tvs in the home when both their competition was going hd?
It just goes back to the n64 when they chose to stay with cartridges instead of disc... when they had already been experiementing with sony on a joint system which later became the ps1... that nintendo funded. Yes nintendo funded the entire ps1 project backed out and sony chose to still release it. The birth of sony playststion. The birth of the ps fanboys

I'm just patient and too old to (33) to worry about what they couldve done. Its the fact they are doing it now that makes me happy.
I don't think their decision to jump to hd now will have a downside due to the notso great leap that ps4 and xbox1 are offering.

You can call any system from nintendo a kiddie system. Although there are probably more adults that play their systems. You have to work with what you have. They have kiddie franchises. They have adult ones to... metroid.. wii fit (now) and a few others. But the major thing is Nintendo knows what makes the money. They sell mario characters in lego pieces. My son has a whole mario bed set. They are going to lean towards those franchises right now and towards the holiday especially to help thier financial situation. With the WiiU they are trying to bring back/in the core gamer. So we will see more serious franchises also. Ala X... ZombiU.. and the mature ports they recieved thus far
