Well, Prime Hunters has local multiplayer, but Echoes was the first time the series had a multiplayer mode. Granted, Metroid Prime Hunters sacrificed the quality of the main story made to make the multiplayer good.
Ya, like Halo. I absolutely hate the campaign, but Halo has the best FPS multiplayer, IMO.
Metroid Prime Hunters was basically a fun Halo DS, until action replay happened.
I have to agree but I think the Halo: Combat Evolved campaign was good.
