I'm pretty sure he wasn't self-banned. I noticed he was banned after some of his comments in an article were removed. I'm pretty sure he was banned for the comments. I checked his profile the day after his comments were removed too.

Nonononono! Bankai is banned, like for good?! That guy was awesome, I loved his logic infused comments amongst so much blind "fanboyism" (hate this word but I can't think of a better phrase for it right now). I'll miss his posts. :-/

This is past. Like someone else said, the Wii U was hardly even ready in November. I bet you if Nintendo wouldn't have released Wii U when they did, Sony wouldn't have announced the PS4.
The games that are being made HAVE been being developed since Wii was losing momentum, so alot of work has already been put in, and they are taking their time for the better.
It makes complete sense to do what what they did. Look back, and you will notice that every game console loses momentum for the most part, but they always have something new to release so they can keep the momentum going where it left off.
The name is fine. If people are seriously confused, they didn't know anything in the first place. All you need to do is observe and read to figure this stuff out.
The only thing I agree with is commercials, but they are still appealing to the casual and phone crowd believe it or not. Most kids can watch the Wii U commercial and realize they don't have that, and imagination helps, too. In other words, a kid watching a bland commercial doesn't need much info to get something good out of it. That's also who they are appealing to.
That Nintendo frameworking was basically targeted at tablet and smartphone game devs.
Nintendo is technically in the tablet business now in a way, but it will truly only show once the eShop looks like an app store, which is what's popular now adays, right?
