On amazon there are two different controllers listed for the WII U pro controllers. If this is like any other forum ive been to im not allowed to link them but, the two controllers look identical the only difference are the names: Wii U PRO controller (black) (WUP-A-RSKA) and Nintendo Pro Controller Black - Nintendo Wii U. My biggest concern is with the WUP-A-RSKA in the first one. Im assuming it means it comes from japan or something of those sorts seeing as every one ships from japan, however is there a difference between them because i can get WUP-A-RSKA controller for 30 dollars cheaper which is something I would be happy to buy. All of your help and knowledge is greatly appreciated!
I am sure they are both the same as I've seen others comment on them too.I am going to order a Japanese 1 from Play Asia for my soon to arrive PAL Wii U as I live in Thailand and they're cheaper than in the UK.Just make sure it is an official 1 and I'm sure it will be fine
I looked them up and you are right, the WUP-A-RSKA one is made in and shipped from Japan. Not to worry though. Controllers and accessories for the Wii U are region-free. A Japanese controller will work with your American console.

You definitely need to be careful as there are people selling Chinese knock-offs out there. If the price is like £10 cheaper then be suspicious. There's a company called JJP Games that poses as a UK trader and is apparently doing this.
Tesco was offering a good price at the week-end and there's the UK Nintendo online store. Otherwise stick with a reputable retailer like Zavvi, ShopTo, Play Asia, etc.
