I turned on my Wii U today and messed around for a bit and decided to check the daily log. First thing that struck me weird was that I couldn't go back to previous months. Then I noticed that the month and year listed was November 2012. Sure enough, my Wii U's date has been reset and all of my recorded hours are gone. I'm assuming a power surge caused this to happen? Apparently it happened about two weeks ago considering that's the first day it has listed. It sucks because I like keeping up with how many hours I've played a game. I adore the 3DS's activity log and it's unfortunate this happened...but does anyone have a good idea what might have really happened?

What would they do about it? There's no way they keep records of everyone's daily log. It's probably tied to the system itself, but that's just me assuming.
When ever this happens in the 3ds (and it's happened to me At least 4-5 times) I just reset the date and everything re-appears. It should work, if not like was said above Nintendo support.
