I am not big into hectic action games. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy them from time to time, but for the most part I prefer things a bit less frenzied and methodical. Due to this I'm most likely gonna pass on Baronetta 2 and Hyrule Warriors and possibly even Smash. So that leaves me with Captain Toad, which I am stoked about, but am concerned the depth and length maybe a bit short. The lineup just seems oddly one-note - crazy action - this year. Anyone else feeling a little left out from Ninty's focus this Christmas?

SuperWiiU

That's what you get once in a while with a console that doesn't get that many releases. You can probably get what you're looking for on 3DS though.

I love action games so I am happy but it does seem a bit short sighted to have no games all year except DK and MK then have 3 beat em ups in a row.

Next year is X, Zelda and possibly SMT vs FE..... that's my kind of year but I hope they squeeze in Starfox, F-Zero, 1080 and Waverace to make their finest year ever

I only posted this to get my avatar as the forum's thumbnail.

I'm all about that crazy action. I started Pikmin 3 this week and I don't really like it, it is boring to me. Looking forward to getting back to the action games like HW and Bayonetta

That's a bit of an over simplifaction of all those game's genres.

Must say that it sounds like a family's christmas list. Dad gets his fill of Action/RTS in the nostalgia machine named Hyrule Warriors, teenage son goes for the half nude, demon fighting whitch in the Action(RPG) Bayonetta 1+2 while Mom and the youngest play Captain Toad. And when the time comes they settle their arguments with over the top action in Super Smas Bros. for WiiU

Everything can change, but I'm never changing who I am

I'm crazy about action/adventure games. Captain Toad seemed mundane to me (I'll get it eventually though). I like those games every now and then as well since they're a nice change in pace, but I'm an action girl at heart. Can't wait for my copy of Hyrule Warriors to get here.
