The same could be said for a lot of other classic games though. They wouldn't just not release it because they assume most people already have it. Money is money
Unless I'm mistaken, we haven't received ANY VC games from Capcom since Mega Man 3, correct? I think they jumped ship after the release fiasco last year, the remaining games being released only because they had already been submitted to Nintendo.
Capcom is VERY active with PSN lately, though. A large number of UMD Legacy and PS1 Classics titles from them were announced last week on the Playstation Blog, and they also keep making new games. They're even patching Bionic Commando Rearmed, even though it released almost a year ago!
So I wouldn't count on getting more Capcom VC love anytime soon if ever.
My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P
I don't think anything can be assumed from Capcom's activity on another system lest we forget that Monster Hunter 3 is a Wii exclusive? The idea of any 3rd party being wedded to one system makes little sense in this day and age.
capcom is being a very busy company they are working 4 wii games, 3 will be out this year, and 3 or 4 hd games they bigger the games the more people have to ve working on them capcom said that they want to focus on the wii fans a lot this year so far they have i am sure we will see good vc games just need to wait

I was talking about download systems, though, not retail. Anyway, Capcom is being quite open about favoritism with the PS3, at least relative to the 360.
I do base my point more strongly in the "Nintendo pissed them off" theory anyway. Not a single Capcom VC game since November last year. I doubt that's a coincidence. Not like they don't have more games they COULD put up, after all.

Final Fight 2 is said to be coming sometime soon so the whole "Capcom boycotting VC" thing isn't true (or at least isn't any more). Maybe after Final Fight 2 has been released we'll see Capcom in full force again. Its just 'wait and see' for now.
Is said by whom? Not to suggest it isn't true, but it does make a difference. I'm all for Capcom coming back...it might show that Nintendo is treating the third parties better or something, maybe. I hope.

I still haven't gotten the 3 NES Megaman's yet; or Megeaman 9 on WiiWare for that matter! It's just that I'm not too big on the character; but wish to get & play them sometime in the near future!
And my only thought on the matter is that maybe that we already have the best out of the Megaman series so far anyway!
After all the VC is supposed to be a "best of" selection of games for any publisher like Nintendo for example; am I right?!
Well, seeing that I have both Megaman collection and Megaman X collection for Gamecube, Megaman and Bass for GBA, and MM9 on Wiiware, I'd rather Capcom released some other games.
Now playing: (Wii - DJ Hero 2) (WiiWare / VC - -- / --) (Game Cube - Second Sight) (DS / GBA - Eragon / --) (Xbox360 - Burnout Paradise) (XBLA / XBIG - Puzzle Quest / --) Wii FC - 2346 1195 9083 7926 XBOX360 Gamertag - BrazCanMan
@Captain Jack Sparrow: I wish you WERE right. Sadly, publishers are more than happy to release their crap on VC as well. Since Mega Man 4-7 aren't CRAP per se (even if some people don't think they're as good as earlier series entries), you'd think they'd want those released all the more. At which point we move back to what I've already said in this thread.

Case in point of what everyone is feeling about the subject; and should probably not say anything further if they so wish!
@Dezner: Not ENTIRELY, no, but they are one of many companies responsible, if my theory about third parties not submitting games is true (and the evidence does seem to support the idea).

I'm with BrazCanaMan here, I would like to see Capcom release something not Megaman in their next VC release. Well unless it was that Megaman Board game that never got released outside of Japan, or Megaman Soccer since it's pretty much the one of the few megaman games not on a collection.
@Kidpit: Yeah, I want Mega Man Soccer! Two of my friends told me it was a blast at a daycare center they went to years and years ago, but I never got to play it!
