I don't have a Wii U so I can't check, but it was not on the official update. Perhaps it is some kind of surprise Christmas update or something?

Which would be more profitable to Nintendo - hoping the last few people not to have the NES Mario games to finally download them - or selling Super Mario All Stars to everyone who has already downloaded the NES Mario games?

Why would they do that when they have it on disc for the Wii? Wii games aren't old enough for the VC.

Um, yeah, that article is about what games they want to be available on WiiU VC. Not what games are available on WiiU VC.

I've bought all 4 NES games on the VC, have the SNES cart of Super Mario All Stars, have the Super Mario All Stars Wii edition, and I would still buy a VC version of it if it released.

I would as long as it remained untouched and used multiple controls like the wii version did. Thank god they let you change from the crippled SMW controls to the more comfortable NES controls!

There were two different controls on the SNES version. You could choose from Y + B like in Mario World or B + A like on the NES.

It's not, Nintendo should however add it to eshop for the 30 th anniversary of the games in 2015 ! That would be great !!!!

They preffer to sell 4 nes games (5+5+5+5 dlls) instead 1 snes game ($8)

Yeah but for such as me who won't be rebuying any of them on the Wii U. If they made it so that if I bought all 4 NES ones then I could also have All Stars then they would be better off because then I would.

I just bought Mario All Stars on disk about a week ago to play on my Wii U. Can't wait till it arrives !!!!!!!!!!! I have the Soundtrack already from when I had the game and it was stolen before, so I'm all set.

Its lame that you have to pay to transfer Wii VC games to Wii U but its worth it.

Haven't they sold all they are going to sell of those games already? Why stop at $20 from fans when they can get $28 from fans?

And I had to pay extra to transfer the NES games to Wii U.
