I have this for my Ccomputer ansd for Sega Cd. Sadly it's the only Sega CD game I own... but adding it wouldn't hurt, there's always room for new games on VC. Even if I don't buy them it's still good to see support for the VC. I'm just waiting for more Japanese titles to come out...
If CD and 32X games can't come to the VC, then I think they should remake Sonic Gems Collection for the Wii that allows you to play with the classic controller and/or the Wiimote on it's side, take out the Vectorman games and GameGear games and add in Sonic Shuffle, Knuckle's Chaotix, SegaSonic Arcade (uses the motion controls in place of the trackball), and "Saturn" Sonic 3D Blast (they would have to either use the PC version or recode it entirley because Saturn games are almost impossible to emulate). Also, put in both Sonic CD soundtracks that you can toggle between in all regions.

@XD375 -- If the fans can make emulators that run easily (and I have one), surely Sega can. Unless some kid in his basement knows more about creating an emulator than a team of educated professional programmers.

dose it play like Sonic 3, or it one of those game that should't been seen again, like most other Sonic Games
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...

Sonic CD is alot more like Sonic 1 than it is like Sonic 3, it takes place in between Sonic 1 and Sonic 2. I prefer the Genesis games but CD is still a good game in it's own ways. I've never played Knuckle's Chaotix.

Of all the times they rereleased the MD games, they could do a Ultimate Edition, suited to HDTVs, Achievements/Trophies, Custom Music Tracks (MegaCD, PC and your own tracks) and so on for the XBLA and PS3...
I'm just spoiled and don't want to play the game on my computer. There are actually a couple of other games I'd be interested in getting for Sega CD, like Lunar (good) and Sewer Shark (so bad, so very very bad, but still, I want to get past "Ratbreath"). A few others too, mostly for nostalgia. Of if Sonic CD game out on VC, I'd probably not bother.

People who say Sonic CD is a mess generally don't understand how it works. Yes you see rings and items in inaccessable places but you have to travel back in time to get them! It's really not that taxing if you use a little thought.
Oh and the reason why people think it's the best isn't because it's a lesser played title - it's basically takes all the great things from Sonic 1, adds time travel (4 version of each main stage - 2 versions of each boss stage), new moves, faster gameplay, improved graphics and sprite scaling, more or a challenge to get a perfect game, amazing soundtrack and no annoying side-kick characters. Just pure Sonic - on steriods.
Wow $5 isnt bad might pick it up if I have the extra cash, but since I still have my Genesis along with the Sega CD and a copy of Sonic CD I will probably hold off till after I get a few games on the 3DS VC that I have been wanting and dont have.

Think of it as $5 for the glorious Japanese Soundtrack.
