I like people who big up Wind Waker. It is pretty much a perfect game, for me. When people say 'teH SaiLing SpIozl it!11!1' I know there is a person who knows little, probably an 8 year old with the attention span of, well... an 8 year old.
Well I tell ya that I'm no 8 year old (here's a clue... I played the original Zelda on a NES a couple of years after it first came out) and even though I liked Wind Waker, it really wasn't as engaging as the other Zelda games out there (including Zelda II).
The problems with WW was that the dungeons were too few and lacked polish. Everything was way to damn easy to figure out. The gameplay basically involved needing some item or object to move forward and the "hard" part was sailing to where that item or object was at. And you pretty much did this for the entire game. On a first run that's good and fine. But I found out that it became REALLY old on a second run.
