Sorry if this has been asked before but I was wondering, can you use the red, yellow, white cable (sorry I always forget what they are called) the come with the N64 on a SNES?

I just got a N64 and a friend of mine is willing to give me his SNES but he doesnt have the hookups for it just the power adapter, so I was wondering.

Also now that I have a Wii, Xbox 360, N64 and quite possibly a SNES I am wondering is there anything out there the will allow me to have all these systems hooked up to my TV at once? I only have one set of connectors on the front of my TV and quite frankly I am tired of having to unplug the Xbox just so I can play the Wii than unplug the Wii to play the N64 etc.

I remember that when I was young I had my NES, SNES, and Genesis all hooked up to the TV at one time and that I didnt have to unhook any connections to switch between them. THe only thing I remember is that my dad daisy chained the systems somehow. Is there a way I can do that now with the red yellow and white cables?

Thanks in advance for any answers to my questions.

SNES uses the same RWY cords as the Gamecube so I believe it's the same for the 64 as well

Yes you can. the funny thing is the N64 is using a dongle that adapts that output to RF so if you wanted to you can take the N64 RF dongle and hook it up to the GCN and play the Gamecube through channel 3 or 4.

The SNES, N64, and GCN all use the same cord. If you can find a Gamecube AV cable, it will work for the SNES or N64, too.

As far as connecting more than one system at once goes...what Besen says is a great solution. You can get something like that at Wal-Mart for $20, and it allows you to hook up 4 consoles simultaneously. They also have some higher-end ones that allow you to hook up component cables and S-video.

Cool thanks what I needed to know and the hookups that Grensworthshero pictured there is what I am talking about. So it looks like I will be getting a SNES here soon too

The dongle was actually originally sold separately.

i use what Besen suggested as well. its good to use if you want a lot of systems out in one place.

And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)

Never said it came with it.
