AND the first response a U mad Bro... Eh whatever. I know there are a few people willing to discuss Nintendo's shortcomings and Don't think that I think Sony and Microsoft are saints either.

Oh I also gotta add the recent shutting off of Indies to Japanese Developers....UH WHY?

And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)

Clearly you know very little about Nintendo. You say they make the same games over and over, but Xenoblade and Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland seemed quite different from the norm...Also, the liscense thing is called QUALITY CONTROL. It's what saved the gaming industry!

Why am I even trying to reason with a troll?

and they almost did not release Xenoblade in the states, and when they did, VERY SMALL PRINT RUN. Which goes to the point I made about games not in the status quo not being Promoted.

The bottom line is Nintendo always has room to learn, alongside showing others how things are done. That goes for any game company.

Sin and Punishment 2 was pretty original...

Very true and if the fans of Nintendo don't discuss Nintendo's short comings how will Nintendo Learn? Nintendo's biggest issue is that they don't respond to fan backlash and that first and foremost needs to change before anything else I addressed that is still relevant to Nintendo now can be done.

Which they DID promote and while Nintendo Owns the IP. they did not make the game, the Magnificent Treasure did. The first game is why I have an N64

Nintendo is beloved, people love Nintendo but we can't act like Nintendo is the perfect little angel. I don't want Nintendo to not exist. I want them to get better, I want them to Listen to fans. I want them to do something new with their games, not with gimmicks like motion control and an over-sized tablet.

Who here says they are? Nothing is flawless.

Fan service is garbage, in almost every case.

I want them to do something new with their games, not with gimmicks like motion control and an over-sized tablet.

Yes, because everything unique Nintendo brings to the table that you don't like is a gimmick. Shame on them for being creative.

I disagree.

Just because they're different doesn't mean they're creative. Their games still use the same old formula and the only time they use these "creative" new things they implement, they just use them as gimmicks.

There's a lot of games out there they could have done a LOT with using the features, what did they do instead? Nintendogs and Wii Fit.

EDIT: I edited this to tidy it up a little

Obviously not perfect quality control, but it's better than what happened to Atari systems!

Atari paved the way for gaming today. Nintendo didn't.
