How does the Game Boy version compare to the NES version?

The NES version has a more advanced color palette, while the Game Boy is portable. I believe the NES version is a bit longer. Other than that, they are pretty much the same.

Cool, I didn't know there was a Duck Tales for Gameboy.

This is off topic a little, but is Duck Tales 2 for the NES any good? I know it is rare, but I don't want to spend a lot of money on it if it isn't fun.

If you really want to play it, the GB version of Ducktales 2 is cheap as dirt.

I loved the NES version, I remember playing it so much. It really is one of the best games on NES. When you redo the levels to get as much money as possible, there's a variation in the ending, instead of just a treasure chest, you get piles and piles of gold, at least that was how I remember it. I always wished they'd released it on GBA when they were porting a bunch of stuff to that system. A new release would be awesome, maybe a Capcom compilation for DS now that Disney is allowing MvC3? =)

What is the meaning of life? That's so easy, the answer is TETRIS.

Not really, though the stage layouts were changed somewhat. The GB version of Ducktales 2 is more interesting, with all the map pieces in new locations in addition to the layout changes.

This being an old game and all, I can assume the European Game Boy version is multilingual? As in, if I buy it from Germany it'll still have English texts?
I know for a fact that, at least nowadays, if you go to France the only game you can get that also has English text is Mario Kart, and a couple of the other big Mario titles. I've also come across a few titles bought in Germany with no option for English text, which is why I ask.

I remember them both to be incredible. Of course the NES version is superior but I remember having a really good time with the GB release as well.

I think all the European carts were English-only, actually. There's no text in the game you need to understand in order to play, anyway.
