I downloaded this game the other day and I've been playing it a bit. I remember it from when I was younger and I don't remember it being this hard. Those freaking barrel's kill me, don't do drugs kids, slows down reaction time. I still love the game, just wanted to say it seems hard to me

I remember finishing the game without major difficulties when I was a kid, but I played on someone else's VC maybe a year ago and we were absolutely pathetic. I couldn't believe how hard the game was. The barrels certainly are tricky.

I don't think we even made it half way through the game.

I played this game awhile back on the VC,and I beaten it. It is hard,but fun. You MUST buy Donkey Kong Country 2,it is even better!

I found getting 100% very difficult.

Yeah, I still haven't beaten this game but boy is it ever a classic.

And even MORE difficult.

I noticed the same thing too. As a kid I could blow through these games, but now I can't seem to beat them. I still haven't beaten 2 and 3 on the VC. I need to get on that sometime, after I beat all those other games that are just sitting there (and there are a lot).

Really? I always (and still do) find them easy, and rack up lives faster than almost any other title.

Well I'm glad that I'm not the only one having troubles with it lol. I can go through 15 lives in 4 or 5 minutes because of the barrel hopping stages.

I blame the classic controller, lol. I think 1 and 2 are the only games I've beaten, still trying to work on 3.

I found the DKC games fairly easy. To me, DKC2 was the more difficult of the three, but even it's not too bad.

I've been stuck on one of the ice levels for like years

I'm stuck on the first level of the ice levels myself Cheezy. So many barrels to navigate through

Just wait until you get to the Animal Antics level in DKC2...

I find these games Easy myself. I just last year 100% on the first one on the GBA and had a blast. Love these games.

I love it, I just wish there weren't so many barrel's

I've made it past the level that was killing me finally and now I am once again enjoying the game

Hey Josh why don`t you finish the original and some day download Donkey Kong Country 2 and see how hard that one is?
Took me almost 2 hours to beat the last boss believe it or not

I'm going to when I beat it I almost did while I was stuck, but I pushed myself harder to beat that dern level.

DKC 2 is awesome. I'm really good at it now I've played it so many times, but it took me about that long to beat Bramble Scramble. Let alone the final boss.
