Local shops, Amazon, retail stores like Fred Meyer or Toys R' Us if there's a sale, and Newegg. I used to shop religiously on Newegg but they haven't had a good deal on a Wii U or 3DS game for a while. I guess it makes sense that they'd give more sales to PC games on a site that sells PC parts
I buy most of my retail stuff from a small local game retailer, but when they can't get a certain game or Limited Edition, I often resort to Amazon.
For digital stuff, I always try to buy a game right from the developer to support them instead of the platform itself,
Walmart. Walmart offers price matching so I awlways get the cheapest price. And if Walmart already has the lowest price I get an employee discount anyways.
There's a GameStop near where I live, but I don't like them, because the game cases aren't sealed, so I'd rather take a 40 minute bus ride to Best Buy or order from Amazon.
Amazon, EB Games, Walmart, Ebay, thrift stores and a local liquidation store (the owner has so much stock, he practically puts the games at dirt cheap prices just to make more room. It's awesome. I've had some really good scores there in the past).
I also try to get to flea markets and yard sales in the summertime.
GameStop. Because I used to be with what was "it" but what I'm "with" usually isn't "it" anymore, and what's "it" is new and scary.
(yeah, I know why people hate to shop at GameStop. But it'd be surprised if something like Eternal Poison, Opoona or Sigma Star Saga (okay, so I'm not cool enough to be able to say I bought something like Ninja-Five-O new, or ever ) ever made it to a Target or Walmart. )
And amazon and ebay.
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
