All digital, baby. But when it comes to controllers and other hardware, I still go to Gamestop. Lately it seems they've toned down on the badgering and "add-on" gimmicks at the register, at least in my area.
Mainly eshop. I would shop Best Buy for the eshop cards and maybe games if they have a good sale. Helps having a rewards card with them.
A dying animal struggles, thrashes and howls in protest as its life torn from it. To see this in action, watch Animal Planet. The same thing happens when a video game is or isn't released. To see this in action, stay here.

I mainly either buy mine from Amazon, Gamefly or a local store called Dimple Records for physical copies. Digital I buy them either from XBLA, PSN or eShop. And retro games I get from either Goodwill or a local retro game store called Fair Game.

99% from online retailers. I try and stay away from Amazon if I can. Not a fan of single companies monopolizing a particular market. Not to mention all of the news that they don't really pay much UK tax. For anyone else in the UK, one of my favourite alternatives is www.thegamecollection.net. Much smaller collection of games but they're usually the cheapest option available and they have a good reward scheme where you get 5% or something back in points.
Best Buy, Gamestop and Amazon. I do use ebay if it is an old game.

Mostly Amazon and Gamestop. I think I have ~100 games in my Steam library, but most are just from Humble Bundles that I bought for a single game. I actually bought Guild Wars: Eye of the North from a site called G2A and the key was legit, so I might start shopping there more often.
My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.
Everything else: Physical copies on Amazon or GAME (only a few times have I bought something from an independent store) digital stores for download only games.
PS Vita: PSN (only dedicated console I have went digital, quite a few of the games available don't have physical copies in the UK) Only own physical copies of Dragon's Crown and Persona 4 Golden.
If I went abroad, I used to get some GBA and DS games from Gamestop.
I mainly stick to buying PC games and haven't went in any game shop in a while.
I usually buy mine at Walmart and pay the extra $3.00 for warranty (Only because I did need it for Farcry 4).. ... Games I dont' use anymore I wait until I have a few and sell back to EB Games
