Topic: PS3 XMAS Games. What do you plan on getting?^^

Hi guys,i know i've been gone awhile as my Laptop is in repair(Im using my PS3 Browser right now so excuse spelling errors)

Anyway tell me what games are you excited to get for XMAS on your PS3?

I'll be getting Fallout 3,LittleBigPlanet,SEGA-MEGADRIVE Collection,and I'll be picking a random surprise out for myself^^ Maybe a PSN Card to buy old PS1 games!^^ I hope you all have a good XMAS. ^^

there aren't that many PS3 exclusives worth buying out there that are new, other than the new Ratchet & Clank, and maybe Uncharted... apart from that, I need some more money on my PSN account for Spyro 2, 3 and Fat Princess lol, but I know I won't be getting more than 1 game this christmas, and that's more than likely going to be Forza 3 Collector's Edition =D

Suggestion: stay away from LittleBigPlanet, it's just an overrated and overhyped game, it is nowhere near as good as it looks, and gets quite boring very quickly...

I tried the LBP demo and was Good(Not GREAT but good)
Maybe i won't buy it lol

@slapshot82 with Super Street Fighter IV confirmed in the near future, wouldn't it be better to wait and get that?

^sf4 is like 20 bucks now in a lot of places...that's hard to pass up, which would explain that addition (it's a good game...just not 60 dollars good....similarly, I doubt SSF4 will be worth 60)

I'm honestly pretty covered on PS3 games throughout Xmas....wouldn't mind the new Ratchet and Clank game though--demos rocked.

EDIT - second the LBP comments. It just feels...I dunno, flashy? The collision the entire game just seems weird and muddy. Unless you're a huge fan of in-game-editors, there just isn't a lot to keep one playing (in my opinion, and I'm a big platformer fan).

I LOVED Street fighter 2 and alpha on the Super Nintendo. Is Street Fighter 4 worth it?
This whole super street fighter 4 crap is dumb. Just make it DLC but no....they REAAAALLY want the money forcing us to buy the game disc for what 50-60 dollers? yup welcome to the gaming market of the 2000's. Its annoying,same with Nintendo and Sony upgrading the DS......we're in a godamn recession. Although PSPgo was argubly the dumbest thing ever and i see why it flopped.

ALso...DSiXL has sold 100,000 units in Japan......good God....more fume to the fire lol sorry.....im not made of money..

@Dadun..... yep, and that is why growing up can really pay off. Get a good job and work hard and you enjoyment can skyrocket. I make good money, as well as my wife and I have my own Video Game Room set-up in my house and I do have ot put time in with the family I get plenty of game time, and can afford new games, though after Christmas Im getting Gamefly

@Sean007s...... Yeah I got Street Figher 4 for $20 USD and hell yeah its worth it, Im not paying $60 for any fighting game, but I cant wait till Christmas to break it out. I also picked up Soul Calibur Destiny on PSP and Brutal Legends PS3 yesterday on the Black Friday Sales so added them to my Christmas too...... though I kinda already got Soul Calibur in my PSP now

I will probably only get nba 2k10 or a 50 psn card or maybe even avatar the video game

Also yeah but in terms of fighting games,tekken6 has me covered....however if i do find SF4 for cheap im picking it up and since SSF4 is coming out,the old one will be cheaper

@Sean007s..... crap I knew there was someone I haven't added. Sorry bout that, Im watching the last episode of Sarah Conor Chronicles now and when it goes off I will add you to my PSN list. But, yeah you should be able to come across a copy really cheaply, then we can get some Street Fighter on Online. My little brother is a big Tekken fan but Ive always leaned on Soul Calibur and Street Fighter.

I just got a PS3 but I'm not opening it until Christmas. I can wait since I picked up some games for my PC to hold me over (Left 4 Dead 2, some games off of Steam). InFamous and Batman: Arkam Asylum came with the PS3. Over the sales weekend I picked up Prince of Persia, MGS4, Assassin's Creed, Valkyria Chronicles, Rachet and Clank: Tools of Destruction, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma all for cheap. If I do get any more games this holiday season for it they will probably be Devil May Cry 4, Burnout Paradise, or the first Uncharted. All old games but I have to catch up so I can play the newly released sequels eventually, lol. Of course I'll have to see what the PSN is offering as well.

@kevohki........ man your in for a great time lol. Sigma is incredibe and do grab Uncharted as you will love it. Ive got to pick up Devil May Cry 4 and Heavenly Sword myself, I have been looking for them for awhile buy cant find a cheap copy anywhere.
