Topic: NIS America press event tonight (Feb 21) 6PM PST - 9PM PST

There's an event tonight that's about to begin......and I have no idea what's being announced.

So I'm betting at least an Atelier game for Vita or so. Maybe.

Not that big on them myself (no Sony this gen) But I know quite a few members here like their games and have said good things about them.

Atelier is owned by Tecmo Koei. Short of a localisation of Atelier Totori or Atelier Meruru (both of which were published by NISA before GUST was acquired by Tecmo Koei), then no, it is unlikely that there will be no announcements regarding Atelier games.

There might be some Idea Factory announcements, given that those two companies remain close, and I'd expect something Disgaea-related.

It better be something Disgaea related. The anniversary's coming up, IIRC.

NISA is almost exclusively Sony.

They've released a few things for DS/3DS in the past (Disgea DS & and Cave Story 3D in particular), so I figured I'd ask.

Also, the musician in the Guided Fate Paradox Trailer is the same band that did the OP for Marai Nikki...needless to say, I'm going to be watching that trailer over and over again.

NIS America.

It stands for Nippon Ichi Software of America, the United States subsidiary Nippon Ichi Software. NIS actually funds the development of many old-school RPG-like games while NISA translates those titles into English.

EDIT: Or rather, NIS funds the development of old-school RPGs. They don't actually make RPGs.
