Topic: Is Gran Turismo PSP worth it?

Is Gran Turismo on PSP worth getting, I'm a fan of the series and when I get a PSP GO I was thinking about downloading it. But some reviews have been awful negative, sould I get this or Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny when I get my Go?

YOu should definately get this it is a fun but challegning game and will last you a long time trying to get the gold trophies and all 800 cars. If you download it you also get a new car so you should definately get this great game

Well, do you think it is worth getting over Soulcalibur though? Since it will be on the Go, I want to be absolutely sure I want it before I purchase it? Oh and by the way Castle, don't you have a PSP Go? If so tell me your opinion on it!

I do and I love Gran Turismo. Some of the challenges can be very hard to ace but it is still very fun. There is also online mode which I haven't done yet but it sounds fun and I also like soul calibur but I would suggest that you get this game first because it is a much longer game and will last you many hours

Castle: What about your opinions on the PSP Go? Could you maybe do some sort of Mini Review for us here at Nintendo Life seeing as it will never get an official review here?

Has no one else tried Gran Turismo PSP or anybody other than Castle?

I bought it, but I haven't played it yet. No time right now. But I'm not a big Gran Turismo fan. About the only racing game series I really like is the Project Gotham Racing series.

I would give the psp go a 10/10 because I love it it looks so good and is so comfortable it is also very cheap for what it comes with you should definately get one so much better than a dsi

What does it come with?

16 gb of flash memory plus you can purchase 16 more gb. It also comes with patapon 2 lite version and a free rockband unplugged

It isn't bad, but it is pretty disappointing. There's virtually no Career mode, just single race and multiplayer(which aren't nearly as fun, IMO), and it's not that hard to unlock the cars. It still plays great, but I don't think there's enough incentive to play it without the career mode.

I'd say go with Soul Caliber instead. All the greatness of SC4, now on the go! And with two new characters! What's not to like?

BUt the challenge mode is very fun and since you really like gran turmiso games you should get this one. YOu won't be dissapointed.

@supermarioman..... not to mention you also have about 225+ games available to download right now on PSN for the Go. Most of them are under $20 USD and are actual solid full retail titles and Sony doesn't have limitations on download size so you can buy a 1.9 gig game for $10 USD with Def Jam Vendetta Takedown for example. Sony kicked things up a notch big time and you can also get everything for the Go also on any other PSP.

Well I love soul Calibur (have broken destiny - it is very good) and find Gran Turismo a yawn fest so you know what I would say .

Yeah for me its a lot easier to purchase GTPSP becuase of me being a loyal fan, I can't wait to get my PSP Go! this Christmas! Also Gran Tursimo will not be my first game for the system, I'm going to ask for 2 PSN Cards so I can download:

Monster Hunter: Freedom Unite
Burnout Dominator
Patapon
and my free Rock Band: Unplugged
So with my first card I actually purchase GTPSP and FF7!

I haven't tried GT PSP, but i got soul calibur psp and it plays the same as the other games and has great graphics but the way they set the game up was pathetic. (Adventure sucks, Story sucks, no arcade mode, versus is 2 player only, You can't choose your opponent.) But the best thing is the character customization. You can make some pretty screwed up guys...Also get Prinny while your at it. It is $10 and very fun, funny, and addictive.

I wouldnt buy a Go. Save for your PS3.
