Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale: This one is almost ten years old, but it's still a fun combination of shop management and more classic JRPG gameplay.
The Cat Lady: Disturbing but captivating adventure game.
Sunless Sea: Hard to describe. It's a seafaring survival game with light touches of rougelike gameplay features, Lovecraftian/Gothic story elements and atmosphere thick enough to cut with a knife.
The Coma: Cutting Class, Dreadout: Former is a unique sidescrolling horror game set in a Korean school, while the latter is an Indonesian survival horror game that's like a more modern indie version of Fatal Frame.
Because it's the "Steam Sales" thread. Nobody actually talks about the games in there anymore. We had a PC Gaming thread, but it, too, rarely gets any use. We're allowed to have hidden gems threads for other consoles. Forcing this type of conversation into a massive, disjointed thread is simply undermining the very purpose of topics. This isn't just some one-off conversation here, or asking about miscillaneous problems or feedbacks. It's a broad discussion that could easily be lost in a general topic.
Speaking of which: Tasuki, why do you think this doesn't deserve its own topic? I mean, I've seen you redirect a lot of threads since...you've became a member here back in 2010. You're also a moderator on PushSquare. I'd certainly like to hear your reasoning.

I actually bought Recettear on a whim and enjoyed it.
Sneaking in the shadows and snapping necks since 1990.
A buddy and I bought Arena Wars 2 on a whim, that was so much fun. I wish the online was a bit more active but I thought it was very entertaining. Maybe if they had more game modes too.
I will have more games to add as soon as I can think of them lol
Aquaria - A lot of really good indie Metroidvania games have come out in the last decade, but Aquaria is still one of my favorites. Its underwater setting and beautiful soundtrack still stand out for me.
Gunpoint - One of my favorite stealth games. And it has a great sense of humor too.
Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky - One of the best JRPGs I've played in years.
Long Live the Queen - You're essentially navigating dialogue choices and managing character stats, but it's really thrilling to navigate the tense political landscape of Princess Elodie's world. Just accept going in that you're going to get her killed several times before you succeed.
To the Moon - It's more of an interactive story than a full-fledged "game", but the story it tells is equal turns funny, sad and beautiful.
I doubt Legend of Grimrock counts, as it's hardly "hidden," but it's still a super-solid indie dungeon-crawler. One of the best PC games I've played in years.
@MarioGearSolid It's a cute game. I've played through it a couple of times over the years and always enjoyed my time with it.
