Oince I get Halo Reach, I'm going to forget what a Wii is.

It's still completely beyond me how these horrendous games are able to get so good reviews. Just because something is popular doesn't make it good, or even decent in this case.
im not even going to point out how many things about this post disgust me how single minded can you get?
Sorry, i just couldn't help it. Everytime i hear anything about Halo, i just have to bash it a little. It's all because of the huge dissapointment i experienced when playing the original game. Of course i haven't played Reach, but i bet it's pretty much "the same old Halo", which may be good to some and bad to others.
I played the beta for hours, and that only had 3 maps and 5 game modes. I'm pretty sure if I can play that for hours the actual game will have enough going for to keep you playing a long time. And there are enough new gameplay elements and strategies to keep it from being the same old Halo experience. Watch the Gametrailers review, it will tell most of the big changes to the gameplay. The Story mode though appears to be very simular to Halo 3 only a little longer. (8 hours approx. Halo 3's was only 4 hours)

From the videos I've seen it doesn't look too different from the other Halo's, but the game does look pretty awesome. If I had a 360, I'd go for it. As soon as my cousin gets it, I'd be over there to play campaign with him.
I remember when I was saying Halo was overrated before saying that became trendy. Now I just don't care anymore, lol.
Reach does look pretty fine though. I don't have a 360, but a friend of mine does and he's hoping to have this game by Chistmas. I'm looking forward to playing it with him, the new forge mode and the inclusion of jetpacks are reason enough for me to get atleast alittle excited.
My brother bought it. I played it for an hour on the forge world map and it was good fun having sword fights on jetpacks in a map that is too big for its own good, but as soon as his friends came online, bye bye Matthew.

I read a review for Halo: Reach in a newspaper today. It praised the game highly, but it went too far to say that Reach is 'possibly the best game ever'. You can't say a game is the best game ever, because videogames are so different. This is a completely different beast to, say, Super Mario Galaxy 2. Don't get me wrong, I believe this game does deserve to be given five stars (in fact, it could be called the best FPS ever) but just because the reviewer prefers FPS games to any other games, I don't think you can call any game the best game ever. I don't like the mentality people have that First Person Shooter is 'the ultimate genre', because it's not. Many people would rather play Tetris.
Sorry if I explained that poorly, I'm not very good at writing.

Spot on, brother. I'm sure Reach is a great game, but Halo's community kills it for me.
Played it. Don't see what any of these so-called new strategies or new game elements are, at least in multiplayer. Felt exactly like every other multiplayer Halo I've ever tried...maybe the single player will do more for me. Personally, I'd much rather be playing Call of Duty or CS Source--it felt clunky and slow. It looked awful purdy though--I'm assuming they remade, or at least retooled the engine, as it didn't look nearly as "Halo 3 again" as ODST did.

Yup the worst part about any Halo game is the people who play it and take it WAY to seriosly.
