I got my switch about 1 week ago i have had no problems and then today i take it out of my dock and i notice that the whole right side is slightly lifting off of the main cast. i have looked everywhere for a solution and when i go to Nintendo repairs there is nothing about the screen popping off. if you now anything about this please help thank you ( I have noticed that it happens when i play for a couple hours making the switch heat up)

I wouldn't even hesitate to call Nintendo, don't try to fix anything that's still under warranty, especially if what you do to fix it voids the warranty

I have the same thing with mine and have had since launch. It's not really the LCD screen but rather the touch screen or digitizer that is between you and the actual screen. Mine is probably only half a millimeter up from the rest of the chasis but is noticeable in handheld mode when you run your thumb across it compared to the left side.
The two best options are first just contacting Nintendo and having them repair it themselves. You will be out your new console for a week or so, but it should arrive back to you like new possibly with a month or so of additional warranty.
The second option is to fix it yourself. The issue is more cosmetic than anything and involves the adhesive not bonding properly between the digitizer and the chassis during the manufacturing process. The easiest fix would be to grab a hair drier and on warm or maybe hot from a distance of a few inches go back and forth over that section of the screen a few times. After doing so press and hold on that section of the edge of the screen for several seconds to help it bond better. If this doesn't work (which it should) there likely isn't enough adhesive and you will want to have Nintendo do the repair.

@SadSnek You still got the receipt? Bring it back to the store you bought it from. If they don't accept it, you can always contact Nintendo.

Have you been playing it a lot in docked mode? If so this may be the issue I recommend taking breaks every couple hours and let it sit for a few hours and don't keep it in the dock 24/7. Also keep it ventilated you can open the back of the dock to help ventilate it as well.

Now this may sound like a stupid idea but maybe you can pop it back in. What you need to do is take the joy con off the switch and put some weight on it then let it sit for a bit

Guys what have you done after the problem ? Call Nintendo or just ignore the issue?

Warranty repairs through where you bought it or contact Nintendo Support for fix. We users can't help you when your product is in Warranty. You either take it back to replace it or contact Nintendo Support to fix it. You already have your choices but don't seem to acknowledge it. If you not willing to get it fix then this is a Trolling posting.

Mine is popped out in same down right corner. Don’t know from when because I noticed few weeks ago. Actually my Switch is also bended (dock too), has some scratches on both sides.. but it plays great and I don’t give a damn anymore. So it’s up to you if you’re going to the store for replacement.. You could have much worse problems with other Switch tho..

It's only been a week. If you bought it from a store and have the receipt, just take it back. No need to call Nintendo.

I thought mine was also broken as it seemed to only play WiiU games and older. Apparently, its by design though jk
