As soon as you hit "place order" it opens a separate tab in your browser with the code.
All you have to do is go to "Orders" and check the status there. It could be that the charge hasn't gone through on your card yet.

If it's taking forever, then I imagine it has to do with your payment info. Either the billing address doesn't match, or your card company puts a hold automatically on anything purchased on a foreign website, etc. Idk. I never have issues buying anywhere. I'd just give it some time and see what it says. In the meantime you could go over your information to make sure that your name and address and everything matches the card exactly. It'll either accept or reject at some point though...
