VIRTUAL CONSOLE with all its games plus Gamecube and Wii games (I leave Wii U games to those who liked Wii U, I didn't so I'm not particularly attached to its games).
Just to keep this thread different than the wishlist one, those are not only games that I would want but also games that should be granted. Console producers should begin to value retrocompatibility a lot more. Switch don't read discs, I know, so I'm fine if I have to buy again a new digital copy of my favourite games, just make them available in the store!
The only one I really agree with is Okami as it did have a release on the Wii. Heck they could even add touch screen for the brush strokes when in handheld.
The rest bring in all kinds of platform agreements and technical challenges. As well as questions on whether it would even run properly (i.e. Darksiders III).
Of course, this could all be thrown out if Doom & Wolfenstein II do well technically AND sell well.
I think this thread is basically just an excuse to list Capcom games. My first thought was definitely Okami HD, followed quickly by the Mega Man collections. And all of the Ace Attorney games (even though I'll happily play them on iOS).
Outside of Capcom, though, a Switch remaster of Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch would be great - I skipped it on PS3 due to new parenthood - and would be a welcome return of the series to Nintendo, where it began. I'm not even going to ask for the imminent Ni No Kuni 2, as I suspect that's a complete non-starter.
Tomb Raider. Rise of the Tomb Raider.
Square and Nintendo work well together and if these games can run on the 360 than they can run in the Switch.
But it’s mainly cause I love those games....
It baffles me that EA wouldn't at least consider porting their one massively successful "casual" franchise to the Switch. The DS had SIX Sims games (not including the MySims series), while the Wii had three and the 3DS had two. Both the DS and 3DS had Sims games as launch titles. Hell, the GBA had four of them!
"Gee, that's really persuasive. Do you have any actual points to make other than to essentially say 'me Tarzan, physical bad, digital good'?"
Don't starve would be great on the Switch. Especially since I've never played it, I would probably get it for Switch.
Also, has Ultimate Chicken Horse been announced for Switch? I saw some rumors, but I'm not sure if they're true. If not, Why is this game not on the Switch. It's the absolute perfect title. (Plus it might be able to tide people over until Mario Maker 2 gets announced.

Dragons Dogma
DragonBall Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2/3
Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Strikers
Wrath Unleashed
Code Vein
Rain World
Never take anything I say seriously. S'all you buddy. ;)
Mainly play on my Switch but I have 3DS, Wii U and PS4 as well.
Fave game series include: Pokemon, Smash Bros, Splatoon, Disgaea, Bayonetta, Dragons Dogma, Phantasy Star & Arena of Valor.
I would kill for some Digimon on Switch. I won't hesitate to import if they're exclusive to Japan like the 3DS games that we've sadly missed out on due to region locking.

I feel like the South Park games would be a good fit for Switch. I don't personally have any interest in them, as I'm not a South Park fan, but I could easily see a lot of people buying them. And not to mention, Ubisoft has a lot of faith in the Switch, so it seems likely.

Not sure how possible it would be, but the top game I'm hoping against hope for is Star Wars Battlefront II

Since Bethesda is already porting several games: Elder Scrolls Online.
In the PC version it's easy to reduce the graphical settings. I'm thinking using that they can optimize it for the Switch. It would be fun to see other MMOs hit the Switch as well. I'd definitely enjoy taking ESO anywhere I go.
@Scrummer Not to mention that SP:FBW is being produced in the Snowdrop Engine. It would be a huge shame for them to have ported the engine over for Mario + Rabbids and Starlink and not release South Park, especially as the Switch would be an ideal place to play RPGs with it's portability. The only other game on the engine is The Division which is... take it or leave it IMO.
Firewatch
GTA V
Assassins Creed
Sims 4
Fallout 4
South Park Games
Don't Starve
Telltale Series.
Prey
Dishonored
Maybe some shooters. Destiny, CoD, Battlefield, Battlefront. They would be interesting additions.
