Alright, my patience has been spent. After the debacle that is Dispatch Games (I assume I'll never see the $70 of product I ordered from them back in 2019), next in the tomfoolery department is First Press Games. Who, like Dispatch Games, I have an unfulfilled order dating back to 2019 with. Matter of fact, I have multiple unfulfilled orders dating back two plus years with FPG.
Please, do not place preorders with them. Consider waiting until their product is in stock before ordering.
Switch Physical Collection - 1,252 games (as of April 30th, 2024)

@Snatcher Yes, as of December it will have been three years since I place my oldest preorder with FPG.
Funny thing is, I always see Limited Run and Strictly Limited receive flak for their long productions times.
Well...at least LRG and SLG deliver product.

@Magician I usually don't bother with these limited run stores, but made an exception for Crimzon Clover when it was announced. Seriously regretting it now as it's now been a year since I ordered and the date has recently been pushed out to Q3 2023 - I'm sure the original announcement said early 2022. I actually emailed for a refund a couple of weeks ago when I saw it got delayed (again), but have had no response since.
Been waiting on Underhero from them, the pre-order was placed on 23 November 2020, also waiting on the physical for Mindseize from the Kickstarter ordered June 2021.
Otherwise I have recieved Maluka (ordered May 2020 recd Jan 2022), Shadowbug (ordered Aug 2019 recd June 2020) and A Hole New World (ordered July 2019 recd Dec 2019) from them
So maybe they are just slow as hell
Well i'm hoping anayways
@dmcc0 Yes, I look forward to FPG moving their production goal posts again in February.

I also suggest not using Play Asia. I ordered a PS4 controller from them almost 10 years ago and am still waiting for it. I tried to get a refund and they told me they can't give me one because they shipped it. Long story short, I never got a refund from them and even tried to dispute it with my Credit Card company.
So yeah stay away from those crooks.

@Tasuki I had a game from Play-Asia get lost in the mail for a while a couple of years back and after a few months of no progress they did offer to send another copy or refund me.
@BenAV I wish I was that lucky. Basically Play Asia told me that they shipped it and if it got lost its the Postal Service responsibility to refund me since they lost it. I have never heard of a thing before. I contacted the Postal Service and they said unless it was insured they weren't responsible. I went back and forth with them for months and in the end I was out $50. I won't ever use them again and can't stress enough to others to stay away from them.

@Tasuki While I sympathize with P-A either not resending or refunding your controller, I can't agree that they're an awful company. Over the past ten years I've place around fifty orders through them and have only had issues with them rescinding portions of my bulk orders due to inventory issues.

@Magician It's ok I am use to people telling me they are great and giving into Play Asia's lies. That's why I tell it as it is so no one gets taken advantage from that group of crooks again. It will just be a matter of time till everyone sees that I am right about Play Asia, till then don't say I didn't warn you about that shady company much like you are warning people about First Press Games.

I ordered Sydney Hunter and the Curse of the Mayan from First Press Games and i'm questioning myself now, i'm sure when I placed my pre-order the release date was in 2022, it now says Q3 2023??

I a basic consumer can see Play Asia's lies without even looking deeper.
Nintendo themselves did me dirty like this. I pre-ordered 3D mario all stars and they sent me a digital copy instead. Refused to fix it. I only buy preowned now and it was one of the very few times I preordered anything. Wont be doing that again either.
I originally emailed 1st Press for a cancellation/refund on 26th October after I noticed the date changed to Q3 2023. Emailed again yesterday after receiving no response to the original email and got a reply today asking for my PayPal details for the refund - as it had been more than 6months since the order was placed they had to process manually.
Interestingly though, I forgot it was only yesterday I'd emailed so had just submitted the same request via the contact page on the website today and got the reply (to the original emails) within minutes of submitting the web request. Likely just coincidence, but interesting none the less.
@Tasuki while I can sympathise with how you feel about your experience with P-A, it was nearly 10 years ago and they were probably quite a new company at the time and customer service and return/refund policies etc have likely improved massively since they started out - not refunding lost packages was par for the course for some smaller retailers back then from what I recall, especially if they weren't domestic.
I haven't used P-A a lot, but the few orders I have placed there have been no issues, and from what others here have said their return/refund policies do seem to have improved - they wouldn't have lasted as long as they have if they were dodgy as you suggest.
I have bought American eShop cards from PlayAsia on at least ten occasions. One time they canceled my order but immediately refunded me. (Or maybe they didn't even process the payment in the first place?). All the other times it worked like a charm.
