Oh, the inertia in this game...

I don't post because for now I don't get past 14,000, but will soon. I'm just warming up.

But I'm curious? Why has it been selected in a shmup thread? You don't even shoot!

It's very easy to update scores, so feel free to post whatever score you have so far and I'l add it. And then post again if you beat your own score.

@Moroboshi876 It is mostly shmups, but every now and then some other genre to keep it interesting. Also feel free to post your current score here.

@Corneel The thing is... I use a different account in Twitter to upload pictures. How do I prove my scores?

Plus I don't know how to join.

@Moroboshi876 You join just by posting your highscore here. You could also just take a picture with your phone and post that (using Tinypic.com for instance).

When these challenges originally, it turned out very quickly to be other than shmups (MetalSlug, Shock troopers, moon patrol, etc. ). I guess the main focus has been on shmups, but people have wanted to do other arcade games too, which is fine (I'm more into shmups personally).

@GFoyle On the other hand it would be nice to go back to games that already had their challenge in order to give the newcomers an opportunity. I mean without overwriting the original ranks, of course. Just using those games for new challenges.

Yeah, this has been discussed and hopefully we do that at some point with some of the best ones at least. I'm all for it! First we need to gather more momentum, participants in general.
