Been far too long since I managed to play along with these challenges. Trying to rectify that by having a few quick runs on the current challenge game: STRIKERS 1945 II. Just trying to break 200, 000 at the moment.

With @RetroGamerAndrew, @Agent721 and @Lroy all taking part but yet to post scores. Looks like the fight for the top spot will be between only a couple, but there's a real tight group bunched up in the mid 300ks. A couple of gold bars could make all the difference!
Today is the last day of the challenge! Below are the scores that I gathered up until today. Thanks @riccyjay for helping out last week.
If you made improvements, please post a screenshot. @GFoyle and @meppi64 have a great battle going on for 1st place, although they may be a bit preoccupied with setting up arcade sticks at the moment according to the discord chat. @Tatanak just took 3rd place, so I may have to do a few runs tonight to try to reclame that position.
Tried few runs today to improve, but only got my second best result. To really start improving, I need to focus on learning the first four bosses better, to the point I wouldn't need to use bombs (or at least that many!) to get to fifth stage.
Anyway, this has been much much tighter than few previous challenges, great that a lot of us were able to improve. Great game.
ps. stay away from the strikers 1945 plus, at least until it's really patched up as it now contains horrible stuttering slowdown from the beginning.
The highest score I could get on the latest arcade competition for Strikers 1945 II was 233k. I was hoping for much higher but I’m slammed at work and simply don’t have time to compete & improve as much as I’d like. I only got in 3 days of play. I won’t bother with a pic as it’s no where near the top. Congrats to all you high flyers! I’m still down to compete for the next one and hopefully work will slow down sometime soon.
There was a great battle for first place going on, with @GFoyle being victorious once again. @meppi64 followed with only 1700 points behind making it a very close finish.. that's only one gold bar. @Tatanak did a great job securing 3rd place on the last day with an amazing result.
The final day also saw @Zkibu overtake @riccyjay with only 600 points. Overall we have seen everyone hitting amazing scores and lots of improvements during the challenge. Thanks to all for participating in this challenge to make it a succes.
Now it's up to @GFoyle to pick a game for the next challenge.
