@Zach777 Took me six hours to find mine, so I'm guessing there won't be a lot of people with extra Stringfish.
@UnknownReader If you want your villager to leave, just ignore them for a while. They're apparently more sensitive than usual in this game to being snubbed.

lol! thanks Ralizah. I was wondering if it take shorter time than ignoring them. One of my villager Agnes is quite sarcastic, lol! But I do wanna keep her for now.
My Brain, eyes, and fingers are not team player. They don't coordinate with each other.
Single system multiplayer sucks. I think it would be generous to call it half-baked. Only one player can fully interact with the game, and the others are limited to little more than being able to run around and pick up items. It's more an annoyance to the main player than anything else. Even more distracting, the camera moves based on the other players, which really annoyed my daughter who was trying to catch a butterfly, and my son running in circles caused the camera to shift back forth, or when she tried to catch a fish, and he ran to the top of the screen which caused the camera to move upwards so my daughter couldn't even see the water.
This feature really feels like something Nintendo threw in at the last minute with little thought just so they could add another checkbox to the feature list.
I love the game overall, but local co-op was very poorly implemented.
@SonicMos poncho did said he was thinking of leaving last night, thou I talk to him more than the rest. I will add u and see if I get more villager that you don't mind trading in the future.

@Mountain_Man you can switch leader on the "flag" icon on nook phone. Mine did not camera moves based on the other players too far ( still within the first player ), it show the 2nd player icon if he/she run too far away from the main player, and then it "poof" back near the main player. ( edit ) this is 2 person sharing island.
Local play, I do mine and my little girl do her on my island ( like we are playing single mode, only thing is she is on my island )
Sorry edit again. The only thing I don't like is the NSO. So bare bone. I have to communicate with my friend with msg on social media or phone txt to arrange timing, add them as BF then it will appear on my NSO nook friend list. from there then we can communicate easier if we want to play together ( rather than catch each other on SM ) linking app to Switch should include friendlist you have already on the Switch.
Hi... So I'm new to Nintendo Life and I'm needing some help in my couch co op game. If anyone has played co op, you'd know that their is a "leader" and "follower". I was the leader in my game, and needed to give items to my follower. To do so, I dropped them on the ground, and when my follower picked it up from the floor- POOF
I am trying to find out what happened to my items, and can't seem to find them anywhere! Are they recoverable???
@briiz only the main player can pick up so after you drop the item, switch leader by going into the nook phone where the "flag" icon and change leader. About the poof item, go to the bin in Resident Services and collect it back.

Help! I keep getting my native fruit on mysterious islands via the nook coupon. I made a total of 27 travels, and found tarantula island and bamboo, but never a differeny kind of fruit. I am only missing pears and oranges and have no online, so i must rely on the travels. Do you know why? The town hall is built and i have 5 villagers with me.
