Topic: How much does it cost to get a Nintendo DS Lite Fixed

Long story short, my Nintendo DS lite of almost 5 years old is pretty banged up. After dropping many times the top screen is close to falling off and when I bend it the top screen becomes blue. No site really seems to know a exact price, should mention that this DS Lite is Onyx black model which was discontinued a few years if I remember correctly.

Just wait till Sunday and pick up a new one for $100.

The one I want is Discontinued.

You could talk to Nintendo about fixing it or replacing it

Try to contact Nintendo and ask how much it'd be to fix it. If that fails, post a picture and I'll look around for some parts/instructions for you.

I've heard Nintendo will sometimes offer a price reduction on a replacement DS Lite, even if it is out of warranty. Try calling them up and asking about repair/replacement.

If you just need a replacement casing, you can buy one online and do it yourself quite cheaply, although it is quite a bit of work and trouble to do it.
