In my backloggery I am trying to get a banner across the top by entering a url. When entered, it is accepted, but the only image there is is a small white rectangke/box. How do I get my pic to appear there?

No specific deminsions, as I've tried quite a few pics. Just google images. Does it have to be within a close range to the recommended size, or exact?

If it's not the size, then it's the sites. Also, Make sure when you click a pick from Google Images, you go to full size. The preview doesn't work.

Oh, but since I'm on my 3ds I can't get the url on full size. Is there any websites that I can get the url without doing it this way?

Can you not do "view Image" on the 3DS? EDIT: I could give you the URLs.

I would beware using Google Images to find an image for your banner; hotlinking is a quick way to wind up with a giant placeholder image admonishing you for stealing someone else's bandwidth, lol. Try hosting the image in your own space — Imageshack and Photobucket are free image hosting sites you can easily use for this purpose. You'll probably have better luck with the image consistently displaying :3

@SegaSquirtle I have a computer, but it broke, I've been stuck on my 3ds for a few weeks now, saving up though.
@Order-Sol You can view the image full screen on the 3ds but you can't view the url.

Didn't work . One had 0 images of it, while the other didn't even work when I entered the url. sigh oh well. I'll just have to wait until I can buy a new computer... unless someone wants to give me one for free!

Just tell me what images you want. You can copy the URLS here from Google Images and I'll hit View Full size and copy down the URL they give me. While some sites don't like hotlinking, if you get it from the right places it's not a problem.

@ClaytonLuigi: I know via Photobucket you can upload via URL, just type in the URL of the image you want to upload after selecting that option.

@TBD I tried this 3 times, none of the urls worked. It may just be a 3ds thing...

This is the url the 3ds gave me, if it doesn't work, just give up.

@Clayton-Lugi What were you thinking trying to upload from a 3DS? Use a computer.... THe 3DS browser is bul**yay**it. It doesn't support the latest javascript, and other stuff, which makes uploading and viewing complicated. It either never uploaded or you just can't see it.

Right now the problem is that we got a bunch of dots at the end instead of the full url...

That may be the problem. If you google image search 'Xenoblade Chronicles' It's the 7th one and the website is gamingtruth.com
