Topic: 3DS SD card files gone but still exist.

My 3DS has been acting up ever since I was transferring back and forth from my computer to SD card, and now all my games seem to have gone missing, however, when I checked the System settings it showed all my data was still on the SD card and everything still is there but the games and other applications do not appear. Do I have to delete the 'Nintendo 3DS' folder just so I can get it to work? I've heard apparently if you do that, the files will be back but as gifts. So I am not too sure unless another option is available.

If you delete the "Nintendo 3DS" folder on your SD Card, you'll have to redownload everything.

I don't know about how to get them to reappear, but that's definitely not the way.

I cannot access the e-shop now and says 'Error Code: 007-2073 Could not access SD Card.' it randomly works then stops working when I do things to try and fix it on my computer which I can't remember.

Well, if you don't mind losing all your crap (which is already lost it seems) you may as well format your card. Just plug it into your computer, go to "My Computer", right-click, and format to FAT32

Before formatting, try to make a backup of you 'Nintendo 3DS' folder. Then format as rayword45 says.

My guess is that it's one of two things:
1: you have a sd card that hasn't been confirmed to function with a 3ds, even though it fits.
2: you performed the file transfer incorrectly.
In either case, you appear to be stuck in a tough spot, so I would recommend emailing Ninty. :3

I've formatted my SD card and now it works, but I'm going to put the files back on the 3DS just to see if it works. If not I'll redownload them and i'll have to go through a long period of playing VC games to complete the difficult ones again.

I've done it now and now i'll redownload everything again.
