Topic: Why do gamers go on about "bias" in games reviews as though it's a bad thing?

Most people go to tertiary education (universities or colleges) because they want a career in the field they're studying. From what I best know at the moment, people go to college to get a job, achieve a goal or dream requiring college, or for the simple desire to understand anything thrown at them. What I constantly notice at my school, though, is that students don't like the first few classes that lays the foundation for later academic studies (i.e. English, important themes from general ed studies). People may get themselves in a situation where they're simply striving for better grades/marks than actually learning. They may be unable to acquire the common skills as a scholar. If they don't get these skills down, they will have a harder time later on or compromise their actual education for a good grade or an inflated degree. I don't know about other schools though. And because some people are childish enough to assume that every review has to be written to suit them, any critic that dares criticise their favourite game is clearly a bad critic.
