Topic: What are your favorite games from last console generation?

The title says it all. My personal favorites from last generation were Infamous, Terraria, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Stardust HD, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Xenoblade, Vanquish, Sin and Punishment 2, Madworld, Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together, Contra 4

Super Mario Galaxy 1&2, Dark and Demon's Souls, Tales of Xillia, Sleeping Dogs and Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time.

Honestly, now that I think about it. Last gen was really disappointing for me. I'm enjoying this gen a lot more so far.

I honestly skipped all of last gen, excluding my DS.

But if I had to choose from those slim pickings, Soul Silver, Spirit Tracks, and New Super Mario Bros.

It's a tie between MGS 4, Yakuza 3 and Xenoblade.

Except for games that hadn't previously been released outside of Japan, I tried to keep ports/remakes to a minimum (hence no Okami HD, Prime trilogy, etc.). Still, it seems my list managed to get out of hand despite that.

This was the toughest game for me to not include on my list (because I wanted to be strict about what games are my favorites)

If I were to distill my list purely into my favorites of my favorites (which is probably what I should've done in the first place), Retro Game Challenge would probably be one of the first cuts. But like I said, I let things get out of hand.
