I approve of this list. And bonus points to @RR529 for mentioning not one but two Ace Combat games.
It's friday, the start of the weekend, and a night where many of us might sit down with our friends & family to watch a movie. With that in mind, let's dedicate them to film related top 5's!
#7, Top 5 Superhero Films!
EDIT: Wait, it's only thursday (stupid 3 A.M. thinking, lol). Still, the question remains the same.
5. Iron Man 2
4. Spider-Man 2
3. Captain America: the First Avenger
2. Iron Man
1. Marvel's the Avengers
While I'll admit they were well made films, the DKT was just too dark & gritty for my personal tastes. (I can totally understand why they deserve a top spot, though)
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
Oh man, this one is tough. I'm going to need a few minutes to chop my list down.
EDIT: In no particular order -
Porco Rosso
5 Centimeters Per Second
Millennium Actress
The Girl Who Leapt Through Time
Grave of the Fireflies
Ugh, not sure if I'm wholly satisfied with that list; I really wanted to find a way to squeeze in another 15 or so films. I eventually settled on an arbitrary limit of one-film-per-director, for the sake of my sanity, and even after that the selection proved difficult.
In no order,
Ponyo
Akira
Summer Wars
Spirited Away
Grave of the Fireflies
Don't watch much anime...
Oh, and as for my top 5 superhero films
The dark knight trilogy, the Incredibles and the avengers
