Topic: Should Nintendo Buy Back Rare??

considering on how microsoft has been treating them lately!! should they?? do you want to sooo badly!! well try to go to nintendo's website and tell to buy back rare from microsoft!!

Microsoft wouldn't sale and rare has been the most successful they have been in years.

Why do we need so many topics about this? I don't think they need them back.

Rare's done and dusted. I'm sure any workers that wanted to go back already did and the ones that haven't would probably make shovelware. No offense intended to anyone, of course.

There are only 3 things we can be certain will never happen in gaming.

1. The Mother series in America again.
2. A Pokemon MMO
3. The existance of pre-GCN Rareware returning in anyway, short of ports/remakes.

Sorry, but that can't be done now. Nintendo probably see little value in Rare when they have Monolith, Retro, and their own studios. Getting back the IP wouldn't even be worth it for the companies involved. Asking for Nintendo to acquire Rare is redundant unless you're one of the richest person alive who owns a lot of Nintendo's shares. If Nintendo were really smart, they would continue hiring new, potential designers and developers to keep the company up with fresh new ideas. _{Oh yes, and squeeze more games outta Miyamoto and the current crew}

It wouldn't matter if Nintendo had Rare or not, they still would make a crappy game.

I did, along with Tooie. I agree though, MS can keep Rare there's a reason they were sold to them anyways.
