Topic: Satoru Iwata Memorial Stream Idea

How many games can we suggest? I don't want to make you mad or over-pile you with requests.

The only ones I can think of right now are Pikmin 3 and Wind Waker (preferably HD), but I'm drawing a blank. Only do them if you own them though.

Find the games where he contributed as a programmer . I only know Melee off the top of my head.

Yeah, Melee wouldn't be bad. If you do Melee though, please let the intro play; it always hypes me up.

If you can do Pokemon gold and silver as he helped make kanto fit in the game as well.

I keep hoping more people post suggestions, because I'm bad at suggestions.
Maybe like Splatoon or New Super Mario Bros from the VC. Try not to spend a fortune though. Also, make Earthbound the priority of my suggestions.

Aside from Earthbound and Kirby (the original Super Star would be my preference due to nostalgia, but any is fine), can't think of anything else that would be imperative to the stream. Definitely want to watch the stream, this is a great idea!

You don't have to suggest imperatives. You can suggest something you want to see, maybe something ive never played, or don't like even. It's a laugh and a tribute, so let's do what Iwata said: Have fun.

I'm actually pretty excited about this, well at least in between my bouts of sadness over Iwata...
Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day...

The first game Iwata ever made was Super Billiards for the MSX, his first Nintendo game was NES Open Tournament Golf, and his last was Fire Emblem: Awakening, so they are most haves for the stream.

By the way, I told a popular Miiverse user about this. Haven't heard from him, though.
How about Wii Sports and/or Nintendo Land? Sorry I'm not suggesting old games... X(

If it wasn't for this man I would have never played Super Smash Bros. He helped me get into other worlds, and seeing him go really hurt my almost perfect day. Even Sony said thank you.

Definitely, it sounds like a blast! Now that you mention it, I have an idea. It'd be fun to see obscure or not as well known games, or games people had no idea he was a part of! Or even notable games that serve as trivia (like NES Open Golf being his first Nintendo game).

After looking at this list, I have some new suggestions.

"Machop At Work - This is interestingly the first game where Satoru Iwata is executive producer as the president of Nintendo." of course this requires an e-reader.
"Hamtaro: Ham-Hams Unite! - Satoru Iwata was the executive producer of this game along with his predecessor Hiroshi Yamauchi." Don't think anyone would link an industry giant to a TV game, so this is interesting!

I agree with most of the suggestions made so far, and I'd also like to suggest the original WarioWare on GBA. It's on the virtual console, so not being able to record handheld games shouldn't be a problem.

Could you play some of the launch games for the consoles he launched e.g. Wii Sports, Nintendo Land, Smash Bros. Melee.
