Anyone else looking forward to it? This game looks awesome, I'm very pumped over it. Seeing as GTAIV was a let down to me I'm looking forward to a new sandbox game I dig Plus, you're a superhero/villain, which is awesome.

Demo came out today. I'm downloading it now. It doesn't look like something I'd like, but I download almost every demo that comes out and looks remotely interesting.

Sounds like I better download that demo before I splurge on Tuesday. Just cause it's getting 9s across the board doesn't mean its gonna be great I guess. If it turns out to be a wash, prototype is right around the corner (finally)

there is no way this game is a flop . the demo rocked by the way. it's on par with saints row and grand theft auto. at the sametime though you can climb anywhere and the platforming in this game is fu*king awesome. so it does in a way,set itself apart from the pack.

I didn't expect to like this, but I did. Yes, you are basically playing on-rails for the demo, but the full game is supposed to be more of a choose-your-mission experience where going wherever you want will be more rewarding. For the purpose of demoing the game, they had to limit the experience to guide you through it. The mission where you guard the medical crate was actually a bit tough.

The movement is probably what makes this game so fun, more than anything. I love running around despite there not being much to see in the small portion of the city available in the demo.

yea man this is gonna be a fun game for sure. though prototype is worth your money so it's a hard choice. inFAMOUS just has so much going for it in my opinion, infact the demo will stay on my ps3 until i get it LOL. id say go for it man. im going to get it a week after it releases.

I was excited about the game... until I played the demo.

I don't know why but something didn't click. People said they played the demo for hours, but after like 10 minutes I wanted to quit.

I have it reserved. The thing that pushed me over the edge on that decision was the announcement of the packed-in Uncharted 2 Multiplayer Beta code. It definitely looks like I'll enjoy Infamous as well, though. First Sucker Punch game since Sly 3! If they put THAT much time into it, it'd BETTER be good!

I did, too, actually. I trudged on out of pure boredom though and it got better. Still don't think it's worth getting, but probably worth renting.

I loved it. The sticky-platforming rocks, the hero/evil thing rocks, the missions were pretty fun, the gameplay is solid third-person wrecking, and the story presentation looks to be its strongest point. Actually pre-ordered the game online about 30 minutes after DLing the demo (god bless you Amazon...how Gamestop is still in business is beyond me.)

i prefer the ps3 over the 360, but thats just me. not a fanboy or nothing, i had both until my 360 stopped working and just forgot about it.

I bought inFamous day one, and have played very little else since. Just earned my Platinum Trophy last night! Love the game, but warnings should be given that some of the Stunts are REALLY hard to do (Right Back At Ya, for killing an enemy with a reflected grenade, being my main problem). Also, here are the CORRECT Blast Shard counts per island, in case it helps somebody out:

Neon: 147
Warren: 135
Historic District: 68

Believe me, it's a LOT easier to find them all if you go for them in each area before you unlock the next through story missions, noting that one Shard in the Neon is unreachable until you gain the Shock Thrusters power in the Warren.

Anyway, that's my strategy dump. Awesome game, every PS3 owner should play it imo.
