man i was admitted this afternoon and will have to undergo surgery tomorrow for an appendix removal. I'm nervous as this is my first surgery and the worst part was getting my urethra cleaned.

I swear it wasn't me who did it. It was just a guy who looked like me, and- oh, wrong guy.

Good luck with your appendix. Just hope no body screws up and you wind up with a spare scalple lodged in your gut.

That doesn't sound like a good time right there. At least it's not your medulla oblongata that needs removed, hyuck hyuck. Hope you have a quick and speedy recovery.

Good luck.

My mom had her appendix removed in 1992. I was a middle school student at the time. My mom was in the hospital for 3 or 4 days after surgery if I remembered right. Mom didn't do much after getting out of the hospital for a week if I remembered right under doctor's orders.

I hope someone will take care of you when you get out the hospital. I am saying that because you wouldn't be allowed to do much after surgery for a 1 week or 2. I recommend you shouldn't play the Nintendo wii while you are recovering.

The only game systems that you might be able to play are the ones that you don't have to move a lot.

yeah i was nervous about the procedure but I'm pretty much at ease now. i've had some pretty cool nurses but it was a bit embarrassing being 17 and Hyper ventilating from the plastic IV strip.

Appendix removal has come along way since the early 90's when 7ths mother had her's out. Many doctors prefer to do this procedure laproscopically these days. They make a small puncture and feed a telescope and a catheter with the needed tools to where your appendix is and remove it.. The incision is very small so your recovery time should be short/ Hope it all works out.

No handhelds unfortunately my DS phat recently died so right now all i have is my trusty laptop. Might re-download Cave story or try La mulana. i may start working on an article analyzing this gaming generation as extra credit for english.

Not what happened with me. I had a large pouch like incision on my stomach with 32 staples... then again, I also had my gall bladder removed and 3 drains shoved in me.

I was in the hospital when I was your age for surgery. The difference is mine was for a fractured left hip and It was my 2nd surgery. My left hip was in very bad shape and I wasn't able to sit up to eat food without being in pain the night before I had surgery. I had a metal plate inserted in my left hip. The toughest part was recovery and learning how to walk again for me.

My first surgery happened when I was a couple weeks old. I had surgery for a stomach problem called Pyloric stenosis.

Surgery isn't something you should be worried about since It sounds like it improved a lot since my mom had her appendix removed and my mom's uncle had his appendix removed in 1996.
