Hi everyone, I’m a big fan of the Cruise ‘n series as well to a lesser extent the Rush games and California Speed. I like games where you drive around different locations of the world. Other than The Crew 1 and 2, could someone recommend similar games that features tracks of locations around the world on more current consoles? I would appreciate recommendations.

Drive Club on PS4 is pretty good it reminds me alot of the old Project Gotham series if you were ever into those. Also Burnout Paradise is available on PS4 and Xbox One. Are you looking for more of an Arcadey type racer or sim?

@Tasuki
Thank you I’ll look into those you mentioned. I like arcade style racing games.

No problem, I too like the arcade style more. I don't know for sure but I also heard that Forza Horizon are arcade like as well.

Have a PS2 or an Original Xbox? Get Midnight Club 3

I do have a PS2, I’ll look into that game as well.

If you have a Wii, I recommend Excite Bots. It has tracks from all over the world and the game is as arcade as it gets. Driving through certain power ups will cause mountains to spring up, or a soccer ball to appear for you to hit into a goal. I know it sounds like nonsense, but it's awesome. Wasn't released in Europe if you live there, but Excite Truck was, and it's almost as good.

If you have a PS3,
Motorstorm: Pacific Rift is a fantastic off-road racing game.
Motorstorm: Apocalypse is about racing through earthquakes, tornadoes, and collapsing buildings.
Split/Second has you race through hollywood sets triggering stunts to try and take down opponents.
Blur is a slightly more technical racing game with Mario Kart style power ups.

There are so many more I want to recommend, but will stop there for now.

If you have an Xbox One, or still have an Xbox 360, then any game from the Forza Horizon series is highly recommended. I also agree with already mentioned titles Burnout Paradise, Blur and Split Second, all of which are available on both Xbox and Playstation.

If you're going for Burnout Paradise, get The Ultimate Box, or the Remastered Edition on current gen consoles.
EDIT:
I personally also enjoyed the FlatOut arcade racers, available on consoles and PC, ever since the OG Xbox/PS2, and the fourth game in the series is now available on current gen consoles (and PC). Reviews are mixed, though.

@Don Forza Horizon 4 seems to improve the already excellent Forza Horizon 3 so that would be a solid recommendation.
