Topic: Biggest pet peeve?

A rather self-explanatory topic, what annoys you the most out of everything in life.
I personally am bothered whenever people begin to like something (like "Twilight") just because a large number of people are following it like an unofficial cult. Seriously! Have some individuality people! It's ok to be different!

I'm working on a game that's coming out soon!

Biggest pet peeve I have is someone driving down the road talking on a cell phone. Makes me wish I had a bazooka on hand.

Plain old gamer :)

Smoking.

There's only one person I'll talk to while they're smoking.

I hate drunk drivers. They are what causes most of the problems over here. Seen 3 get killed already.

In fact, cell phones in public period.

Well, to go with the OP I hate to go with the masses and hate fans that are just fans for something that is popular. I use to love Haruhi Suzumiya but all this fan-dom around her makes me want to puke and I almost hate the series because of it.

My main pet-peeve are people who talk about something as if they are the perfectly right, never wrong. I've been reading too many things about video games and how some people come off with their opinions as fact just makes me want to punch their throats to make them shut up.

Going on with video games are those people that have to tell people they sold their Wii/DS/PSP for this reason or another. It's like they need to go out of their way to tell someone why they dumped their girlfriend or why they quit their job or what not. It's stupid to say the least. All it says is you are an idiot that has to say their mind to get in edge-wise. I don't need someone to tell me that they sold their Wii or what-not, I have what I want from it and that's it. Think of it this way, you go to buy some cheese at the market and some guy comes up and says "Oh, I had that cheese but I didn't like it so I sold it to a hobo"... It's useless information that just clogs my intertubes! Think of the intertubes! Come to think of it... no one ever says they sold their PS3 or 360 cause it's not the HIP thing to do, there, two peeves for the price of one. Ok, I'm done...

I misunderstood the comment where it said Twilight and thought you meant Twilight Princess. I suddenly had a vision of a bunch of people dressed up like the Dark Interlopers, prostrate at the feet of a statue of Sexy-form Midna. That's what I get for living in video-game world instead of real world.

The only thing that really annoys me is people who drive really slowly in areas that you can't pass them.

Oh, and Microsoft/Sony fanboys, of course.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

Can't think of an out in public pet peeve (other than employees at best buy), but I hate when doctors eat while they dictate

Well whoever thought that selling a videogame system makes things better?

I have a decent number of pet peeves.
1.Sony/Microsoft fanboys.
2.Shovelware supporters
3.People talking on their cell phones sometimes.
4.Fans of medicore or horrible movies [like Twilight] and video games [like Sonic 06].
5.Rude people
6.Gamestop

Funny story actually,
i no a guy who sold his ds (a fact that he consistantly brought up) in order to buy a PSP. Realizing a year l8r that this was one of the stupidest ideas he ever had (and believe me, he was full of 'em), he promptly sold his PSP and marveled over his newly bought ds lite. The first game he bought 4 it was one of my own reccomendations: Phantom Hourglass. He played it for about a month, got as far as beating the 1st dungeon, then sold it, claiming that it was too repetitive. He then continued to rant about how Nintendo should axe frachises like Mario and Zelda and creat new things if they really wanted to make money. I preceded to ignore him an chuckle softly at his stupidity as i went to bed...

lol. I love that story. Sounds like a crybaby. He couldn't beat a level, got mad, and sold it? That's funny.

Hi, I'm not familiar with the expression "pet peeve", as I can see, it seems to be something that bothers you from other people, but I'd like to know, what does it really means?

"And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor, Shall be lifted nevermore!"

"I'll just have to STOP. TIME!" - Twilight Sparkle

A pet peeve (or pet hate) is a minor annoyance that an individual identifies as particularly annoying to them, to a greater degree than others may find it. Examples may be; poor table manners, sloppy kitchen hygiene, smoking, grammatical errors in written passages, inconsiderate driving or lazy co-workers.

Pretty much had the correct idea already. Just something that can dig itself under skin so much it really sparks something in you.
