Topic: Why doesn't "~" make text small anymore?

I always forget that I have to put [sub] tags around words to make them tiny now, because I'm so used to the "~" shortcut.

We made some changes to how formatting works that meant some of the previous short cuts don't work.

But you can still use {sup} and {sub} to make your text ^superscript or _subscript if you want it small

I fail at this.

3Dangerous, if you are trying to do some type of formatting, just quote a message of someone else's who did it to see how it's done.

just so everyone knows, i've been putting this information into the Helpful Tips for Formatting Messages thread as it happens — I posted about the lack of tildes back in January, in fact (post #139).
