Topic: Reader reviews functionality

Oh, okay, I've seen that guy around OCCASIONALLY. Not very bloody often, though. So still, I think it's justified that people aren't familiar with him.

EDIT for some reason i cant do the other arm because the backslash after the bracket always gets erased

So when is the reader review functionality going to be up?

Can we get an estimation when this might be unleashed? I've been anticipating it for several months with no updates.

Sega Superstars Tennis? On Wii, I assume? I've heard bad things about it...the game's very good on Xbox 360, though. Totally underrated.

And, on-topic, I would also like to know when this is coming. And, on a similar note, why it is that upcoming features keep getting announced around here, yet none of them ever seem to actually show up. Quite a curious situation, don't you think?

^^It's the opposite of Nintendo's business practices, where they deny upcoming features, and then they randomly show up.

Yeah, on the Wii. I might pick up the 360 version as I've seen it going very cheap lately.

EDIT: Damm it, I forgot about the text limit for reviews. Hmm, this could be tricky. What I might have to do is a very condensed version for NL and offer the full version on my Blog (Which I've yet to create)

@Terranigma: You can work it out! And please do pick it up on 360...it really is good. Quite fun on Live as well, when it's not being super laggy (which it isn't always, and probably isn't as much now with fewer people playing it).

As you know we've been pretty busy with the whole server migration recently... now that is finally done, completed, dusted, we can concentrate on getting some new features on the site

Hard to tell when we'll have time to launch them (we have real day jobs too you know) but they should happen sooner rather than later now

As always we're working on LOTS of things, not just the Reader Reviews although this has now become a priority.

I noticed that a lot of games aren't listed on nintendo life, there are only about 6 GBA games when I go to retro. Will users be able to review these?

How about a "User Review of The Week" kind of thing? It'd be nice to see content made by actual users highlighted for all of the site users to read.

Summarized reviews can easily be done in 400 words or less. You will just have to be creative in your wordings!

A lot of magazines printed today have short reviews, and even on massive games such as GT5.

It is needed at random times just keep checking the join the team link at the bottom of the site.
EDIT: Also can't someone just type like this (I/love/this/game/it/is/awesome etc.) to get passed this 400 word limit.
