Only had a few lines but shortened it anyway. I agree some people have waay to many lines. If I haven't played a game in a few months I'm not going to boot it up to add anyone's code, so it's pointless to have it there. I try to keep only things I currently play. I would also like an option to ignore sigs so people concerned wouldn't have to worry at all.
I'm taking to the Backloggery idea suggested by metakirbyknight. It's a good way to keep you friend codes in one place. Not that I've actually bothered to post any friend codes there yet, but I can see it'd be a great place to do so for those who DO tend to post codes around...
The site is a powerful motivational tool for game completion, too. I finally went back and finished the Skill Points for Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage last night just so I could move it from "beaten" to "completed" on my Backloggery.
My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P
I take a kind of OCD-style pride in my signatory hygiene, but I'm not really bothered by those who don't. That said, there are (or were) some really offensively, obnoxiously, egomaniacally looooooong sigs around here.
I support having fields on a member's profile page for friend codes. If properly implemented, it could be very helpful, and reduce the info in members' sigs to just the names of the games they play online, rather than the name plus a long friend code as it currently stands.
@Vendetta: I quite like how neat and organized your signature is. Looks like something I might do to condense lines if I were to post friend codes in my sig.

Thanks! I say go for it. I've seen a few others adopt this style or something close to it, so if I've contributed to the cleanliness around here then it'll be its own reward. Doesn't quite make up for the mess on my desk though.
@Vendetta: That picture is CREEPY! I'm not going to actually post my friend codes in my sig, because I could just post them on my Backloggery instead, which is already linked in my sig.
