Let's just have some original 3DS games please.
Nearly everyone seems to have a smart phone these days, so if you really want to play smart phone games then just play it on that.
Sure, there may be times where the 3DS has a bit of a drought here and there, and lucky for me I have Kid Icarus: Uprising which solves that problem forever.

I'd love to see Rally-X Rumble on 3DS, and/or an HD version on consoles. That game would be much better using buttons than using the touch screen.

Rest in Peace ShiftyLook
I keep these Nintendo Life threads updated: Missing 3DS VC and Wii U VC between regions, Full of list first party Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Gear games missing from the 3DS VC, and Full of list first party Game Boy Advance games missing from the Wii U VC.

Hey, someone revived my thread?! Well, here goes...

I know, man. He'd probably list out a quadrillion number of games and look down on my choices for bringing over Gameloft games (he says they have no soul, which is true... but doesn't change the fact that they're still fun).

1. We all want that. :P
2. Some of us do not have a good smartphone to play games. Others may hate playing primarily with a touchscreen substituting a pad and buttons. This could expose the good games to more receptive gamers this way.
3. Good for you. Unfortunately, others don't. While ports can't substitute for new and original games, they can still tide some other people before the next big game comes out for the 3DS.

Games I'm getting: None

Favorite Games: Super Metroid (SNES) / Mother 2 (Super Famicom) / Pokémon LeafGreen (GBA) / RuneScape (PC)
Playing: Pokémon X / Y (3DS) / Super Mario 3D World (Wii U)

Nothing interesting happens.

No. Even the best iOS games aren't worthy of a retail release on a dedicated gaming portable.

O.o

You realize there are already full retail releases on iOS, right? The lack of knowledge pertaining to iOS gaming on this site is astounding, considering how often Nintendo fans blame others for not exploring the Wii's library when that gets criticized.

I guess I was a little harsh with my wording, lol :P

What I was trying to say though, is that most good iOS games are somewhere between $4.00 and $7.00 (with a fair amount cheaper, and some more expensive), and it would be a bad idea to release those titles at retail inbetween $20 and $40.

IMO, any iOS games that get ported to 3DS could only compete as eShop games. For example, I'm willing to bet that Angry Birds Trilogy (which will go for $30) will tank, because you can get all three games for $3 or less elsewhere. It would have been better if they were released on eShop for $1.99 each, or maybe between $7.99 and $9.99 as a set (depending on what new features are added).

Currently Playing:

Godzilla: Smash 3 (AND)
Summoners War: Sky Arena (AND)
Salvo Saga (AND)

Yep. Chaos Rings II launched at a huge $19.99, as much as a budget release for the DS (Picross DS) or 3DS (Nano Assault).

Also, I could get behind a conversion of the remaining Asphalt games to eShop. Asphalt 3D was garbage. 4 was ok. But having 7 on eShop would be nice.

I can't really think of any tbh. I would like to see Plants vs Zombies 3D on eShop(3D enabled, better visuals, better framerate, maybe an extra mode etc.) but PvZ was originally a PC game ported to other platforms(including DS/DSiWare).

I don't play smart phone games, which this thread is clearly talking about. The only ones I've left on my iPhone is Fortune Street Smart, which would be fine on the 3DS, though I would rather a new Mario-themed one be developed. Then there's Flight Control, which is already on the eShop via DSiWare, Song Summoner, which I doubt is even possible on the 3DS, Wizardry (just go get Dark Spire on DS), and Soul Calibur (Dead or Alive on 3DS is enough for me there).

In regards to the iPad... I can't think of a single iPad game that I would rather play on a tiny 3D screen over the vastly superior, big retina screen on the iPad.

I'm not big on iOS and Android but I'd say Pocket Legends could work. It's an online RPG which is always welcome to the 3DS. Maybe Infinity Blades 2, as well. That one looked good.

There are no stupid questions, except for the ones that are.
Bergmite, Piloswine and Snover safari.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

I don't play phone games much (since most of them are awful, I hate not having buttons and my Galaxy Ace has a horrid memory), but two which I really enjoyed were Fruit Ninja (which can be easily ported with touch screen controls), and Age of Zombies.

Age of Zombies is a point-based twin stick shooter where you have to shoot zombies. It's pretty unoriginal, but fun. It could use the CCP or the control pad for movement and the stylus for shooting, with the HUD on the top screen.
