there is no official name announced for it yet, so until one is announced, 'Moving Memo', 'Moving Notepad', and 'Flipbook' are all equally valid.

people generally use memo pads or the corner of a big notebook as flip books. thus, 'moving memo' or 'moving notepad'. the japanese name for the program (ugoku memo-chou) actually includes the word 'memo' as well. it's not farfetched to think the english translation might not actually be 'flip book', so yelling at people over it is unnecessary.
