Being new is no excuse. They learned their lessons with the Wii, and have almost a year since the Japan DSi release to make DSiWare good, but they half ass it like all their online stuff and in the end, they don't care.
The DSi is selling well to people too stupid to realize the camera sucks, the music player is limited, and it doesn't really do anything different.
Nintendo again is hoping for 3rd parties to carry DSiWare like WiiWare, but with all the apparent restrictions, I can understand why most 3rd parties aren't bothering and sticking with WiiWare.
Most 3rd parties who made WiiWare games are STILL making Wiiware games. Plus, most of them are indie and/or smaller developers who can't really afford to make full-scale games

While I agree DSiware does have some garbage there are still really brilliant games. In fact DSiware is good enough that I only have 6 DS games at the moment and all of them are DSiWare. Not one single physical game card.Just wait a couple of months and it's going to be high-class titles every week.
Im not selling my DSi ( I did my Wii and not really complaining about it) cause hopefully the slow trickle of games will be worth it in the end. I do like the larger screen alot but Im not crazy about the "click" feel to the buttons instead of the smooth push the DS has.

We're just going to have to wait for good games to come. Nintendo and other video game developers are already working on NEW games for DSiWare. We should be getting these titles before the end of the year.
Yes, GoodByeGalaxyGames is working on it at the moment and I am also looking forward to its release. Unfortunately, we will probably have to wait until November-December before we get it.
That is wrong. Japan didn't get Flipnote Studio til' December 24, which was MANY MONTHS after the release of the DSi there. This was also their FIRST UPDATE. Before December 24, all Japan had was the Nintendo DSi Browser.
Even with Flipnote Studio, the DSi Shop is still going to be VERY lacking...
Yeah, it will be lacking but hopefully, Flipnote will keep us at bay until some good titles get out. Flipnote Studio is pretty much the killer app for DSiWare right now. Not sure what will be the next killer app.
